Real Estate - The buying, selling, leasing, and renting of
land, residential and/or commercial property for profit.
Usually considered to be a 'safe' investment due to rising home and land
inflation. Investing in real estate can be a great return in profit if bought
carefully and sold at the right time. For example, the South Florida real
estate market has been booming for the last few years and investors have made
millions off of land and homes purchased in the area. However, analysts also
predict that that economy may bust in the next few years. Recognizing trends
and taking advantage of them are the keys to success in this market.
